BFRB General Membership Meeting at Camalig Bank
Camalig Bank hosted this year's General Membership Meeting and Election of Officers of the Bicol Federation of Rural Banks (BFRB), which was held last 17 May 2023, at Sutileza Hall, Camalig Bank Corporate Office, Legazpi City. CEOs/Presidents and representatives from fourteen (14) Rural Banks participated in the event. Guests from the Real Estate Brokers Association of the Philippines (REBAP), representatives from Country Bankers Inc, and GVX Consulting Asia were also present.
Mr. Amador Racpan, the Chief Risk Officer from Agri Bank who came to the event as the guest keynote speaker, shared his expertise on the topic, Credit Risk Management, and Expected Credit Loss Methodology, which was indeed beneficial to the participants to grasp more knowledge on the subject.
Respectively, Mr. Teddy Theanne of GVX Consulting Asia gave a talk on digitalization and cyber security about the services offered by their consultation agency to help the rural banks in Bicol with their digital growth. Meanwhile, a panel discussion was also held in the afternoon for the opportunities in Real Estate Lending and ROPA Disposal with the help of Mr. Roi Teodoro, the National VP for Internal Affairs of REBAP.
Moreover, the organization proceeded with the Reports from the Outgoing President and Treasurer for the fiscal year 2022-2023. It was then followed by the election of the New BFRB Officers for the fiscal year 2023-2024.
