BU-CSSP Psychology Partners with Camalig Bank for Research Extension Project on Mental Health
The Bicol University College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (BU-CSSP) Psychology Department, headed by Salvacion L. Villafuerte, Associate Professor IV, partnered with Camalig Bank on a research program that will focus on Camalig Bankers' mental health.
With its four-phase designed program, it primarily aims to establish baseline data on the mental health needs of the Camalig Bank employees. The results will form a basis for developing a mental health policy that the Bank will utilize to create mental health promotion strategies.
The BU-CSSP will allot Phase 1 to assess mental health needs. The following phases will cover the following areas: Phase 2 for developing a mental health policy, Phase 3 for implementing mental health promotion strategies, and Phase 4 for evaluating the implemented strategies.
This research undertaking will run for three years, from April 2022 to March 2025.
